Large white marble building, staffed by Goblins, so don't even think of trying to rob it if you know what's good for you. The main floor of offices is on street level, but the vaults are miles below, accessable by a magic cart. It is rumored that the goblins keep dragons and sphinxes down there to guard the high security vaults. You must come here to access your vault before you can buy any equiptment and you need equiptment before you can come to Hogwarts.

Located at the end of the road out of Hogsmeade, D&B sells magical instruments and equiptment, including sneakoscopes.

While River's actual living quarters are unknown, her office is certainly well-known! A large stone gargoyle protects the office's entrance. If River is not available for company, doesn't want any from you, or just wants to be left alone, the gargoyle will not let you in. When it moves aside and the wall opens up, it reveals a escalator-like spiral stone staircase. The staircase stops in front of an oak door with a brass griffin knocker.

The professor is Flitwick. Charms and spells are taught here to help with everyday life to abnormal needs. Charms is also a great place to have a chat about something that you don't want overheard.
