Entering the Platform

Phoenix arrived at Kings Cross Station at 7.00 am and made her way to the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. As she neared Platform, a wizard, wearing a black, velvety top hat, a white tuxedo and a orange sweatshirt, approached her.
'Good day, Miss River'. He smiled at her
'You to, Joshua'. Chloe replied
'What time would you like me to allow students to enter the platform?' He asked, still smiling
'9'. She replied
And with that she turned suddenly, with a swish of her cloak, and was gone.

Rory walked up to the barrier between platforms 9 and 10 at 8:59a.m. He stop a few feet infront of it and began to run closer, closer, closer. When he thought he'd slide through it, he connected to the wall, a shoot of pain went through his arm and he slid down onto the ground.
